Favikon Teamspace: How It Works

Learn how Teamspaces work, including roles, seats, and permissions. Discover who can access features, manage users, and collaborate within your workspace.

Written by Rosemary Haddad

The basics

Every user gets one default workspace for free. As soon as you invite a colleague into your workspace, that person takes a paid seat, there is no free colleague seat. One invite = one billable seat added to your subscription.

Seat types

There are two paid seat types. The seat type controls what a person can do inside the workspace.

Seat

Price

Analyst

$39/mo

Full

$69/mo

Roles

Roles only control workspace management — they do not affect feature access (that is what the seat type is for).

Role

What they can do

Owner

Manage the workspace and delete it

Admin

Invite and remove people

Member

No workspace management actions

Note: Owner column in the permission table reflects full feature access. Admin and Member share the Full or Analyst seat permissions and differ only on workspace management rights.

Free Guest viewers

A campaign can be shared with a Guest for free. Important details:

  • A Guest is not added to the workspace. They are added to a single campaign only (like sharing one doc in Notion).

  • Guests can only see that one campaign and nothing else.

  • Guests can only be added from inside a campaign, not from workspace settings.

How to invite people

  • Paid seat (colleague): Invite from workspace settings or directly from a campaign. This adds a billable seat to your subscription immediately.

  • Free Guest: Can only be added from inside a campaign. They will only ever see that one campaign.

Quick answers for common questions

Q: Is there a free seat for colleagues?
No. Every colleague you invite takes a paid seat ($39/mo Analyst or $69/mo Full).

Q: What is the difference between a seat type and a role?
Seat type = what features the person can use. Role = whether they can manage the workspace (invite/remove people, delete it).

Q: Can I share a campaign with someone outside my workspace without paying?
Yes. Add them as a Guest directly from inside the campaign. They will only see that one campaign and it does not cost anything.

Q: Can an Analyst send outreach messages?
No. Outreach, messaging, contracts, and payments are only available on the Full seat ($69/mo).

Q: Can an Analyst create campaigns?
No. Analysts can view campaigns and add creators to them, but cannot create, edit, or delete campaigns.
