Understanding the Authenticity Score on X

The Authenticity Score offers a quick snapshot of how real and credible a user’s presence appears on X. It’s built to reflect natural, effective platform use, not just follower counts.

Whether the goal is growing an audience, securing brand deals, or simply being part of meaningful conversations, the score helps indicate how trustworthy and platform-native a profile feels.

What’s Measured?

The score is based on five key areas that define authentic behavior on X:

Category

What’s Evaluated

Tweet Content (25%)

Are posts original, timely, and reflective of X’s native tone?

Replies & Interactions (25%)

Is the user actively participating in real conversations?

Expertise & Authority (20%)

Does the profile demonstrate depth or credibility in a specific topic?

Follower Growth & Quality (15%)

Is the audience real, engaged, and relevant to the content?

Platform Behavior (15%)

Is the user active directly on X, not just reposting from elsewhere?

Each area is scored out of 100 and combined to generate the overall Authenticity Score.

To view your score:

  1. Go to the Scoring section on the Creator Profile.

What Doesn’t Affect the Score

The system does not penalize users for:

  • Expressing political views or bold opinions

  • Posting niche, provocative, or unconventional content

  • Having a casual, unfiltered tone

The purpose is to highlight real creators, not punish personality or uniqueness.

How to Improve the Score

  • Share original content regularly

  • Join real conversations with thoughtful replies

  • Focus on a niche or area of expertise

  • Build a genuine, engaged audience

  • Use X as your primary platform, not just for reposts
