Overview
You can claim your social media profile on Favikon using the Chrome extension. If you’re on a Business plan, you can also use the extension to add other creators and view their analytics.
Plan Availability
The Chrome extension is available on both Creator and Business plans, with different levels of access depending on your plan.
Creator Plan
You can claim your own profile
You can view analytics for your profile and for other creators
You cannot add creators to campaigns or save them (no toolbar actions)
Business Plans (Starter, Standard, Pro)
You can view analytics for other creators
You can add creators to the platform and your workspace
You can save creators and add them to campaigns directly from the extension
Creator Free Plan
You can claim your profile only
You cannot view analytics in the extension
Business Free Trial
You can view other creators’ analytics
Functionality matches the Creator preview experience
You cannot save creators or add them to campaigns

Step-by-Step Instructions
Prerequisites
A computer (PC or Mac)
Google Chrome browser
A public social media profile (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
An active Favikon account
Step 1: Download the Favikon Chrome Extension
Go to Favikon and click the Download button
Add the Favikon Chrome extension to your browser
Step 2: Open Your Social Media Profile
Go to LinkedIn or any supported social media platform
Open your own profile page (not the feed)
Step 3: Open the Extension and Enter Your API Key
Click the Favikon extension icon
Wait a few seconds for it to load your profile
Copy your API key by going to Settings then Connections in your Favikon account
Paste the API key into the extension
Step 4: Claim Your Profile
Click Claim My Profile
Press Start to complete the process
Your profile will now be successfully claimed.
Step 5: If You Don’t See the “Claim Profile” Button
If the claim button does not appear:
Open Chrome Settings
Click on Manage Extensions
Click Details
Make sure the required site access permissions are enabled
Refresh your social media profile and try again.
Step 6: Confirm Your Profile Is Claimed
Return to your Favikon dashboard
Click Start
Your verified profile will now appear in your account
