This guide will show you how to set up your profile on the Favikon Creator Plan, including claiming your social media profiles using the extension. Follow these steps to get started.
The Creator Plan is tailored for individual users who want to analyze their own content. It does not include features for viewing or analyzing other creators' profiles, making it ideal for personal use and self-assessment.
Step 1: Create Your Favikon Account
Visit Favikon and sign up for a free account.
Complete the registration by filling out your information.
Step 2: Verify Your Email
After signing up, check your email inbox for a confirmation email from Favikon. Click on the link provided in the email to sign in to your account.
Step 3: Confirm You’re on the Creator Plan
Once you log in, make sure you’re on the Creator Plan on creator.favikon.com. You can verify this by looking at the left side of the screen, where you'll see your profile icon with the Creator label.
Step 4: Download the Extension
Claiming your profile is essential to unlock the features of the Creator Plan, as it allows the platform to analyze your content and provide insights.
Go to My Profile from the left menu
Click Account Settings
Go to Account and scroll down till you see the Install Extension
Install and pin it in your browser

Step 5: Claim Your Social Media Profile
Open a social media account (e.g., LinkedIn) that you want to claim.
Important: Make sure you’re on your profile page and logged in from the same account that you want to connect to Favikon.
Open the extension on the right side of your screen.
Copy and paste the access key. To get the access key go to Account Settings then Account the scroll down and copy the access key.
After you paste the access key click on the Claim My Profile button. This action links your profile to your Favikon Creator Plan.
Ensure that your account is set to public so the extension can retrieve your profile information. Additionally, verify that you are using the main profile page, where your photo, bio, and other public information are prominently displayed.
Step 6: Confirm Your Profile is Linked
Once your profile is claimed, click Start in Favikon to begin using the platform with your connected profile. Check the left side of the screen to confirm you’re on the Creator Plan, and start exploring all the features Favikon has to offer.
Tips for Claiming Your Profile
The Claim My Profile button will only appear on the extension when you’re on your actual profile page and logged in with the same account.
If you’re having trouble, ensure the extension is installed correctly and you’re logged in to both Favikon and your social media account on the same browser.- For best results, use Google Chrome with the latest version installed. Browser updates ensure better compatibility with the extension.
If you encounter issues while claiming a profile, ensure your profile is set to public and that you are navigated to the main profile page displaying your photo, bio, and name.
