This guide will show you how to set up your profile on the Favikon Creator Plan, including claiming your social media profiles using the Favikon browser extension. Follow these steps to get started.
Step 1: Create Your Favikon Account
Visit Favikon and sign up for a free account.
Complete the registration by filling out your information.
Step 2: Verify Your Email
After signing up, check your email inbox for a confirmation email from Favikon. Click on the link provided in the email to sign in to your account.
Step 3: Confirm You’re on the Creator Plan
Once you log in, make sure you’re on the Creator Plan. You can verify this by looking at the left side of the screen, where you'll see your profile icon with the Creator label.
Step 4: Go to "My Profile" and Download the Favikon Extension
Navigate to My Profile in the menu.
Follow the prompt to download the Favikon browser extension. This extension is essential for claiming your social media profiles.
Step 5: Claim Your Social Media Profile
Open a social media account (e.g., LinkedIn) that you want to claim.
Important: Make sure you’re on your profile page and logged in from the same account that you want to connect to Favikon.
Open the Favikon extension on the right side of your screen.
Once loaded, click on the Claim My Profile button. This action links your profile to your Favikon Creator Plan.
Step 6: Confirm Your Profile is Linked
Once your profile is claimed, click Start in Favikon to begin using the platform with your connected profile. Check the left side of the screen to confirm you’re on the Creator Plan, and start exploring all the features Favikon has to offer.
Tips for Claiming Your Profile
The Claim My Profile button will only appear on the Favikon extension when you’re on your actual profile page and logged in with the same account.
If you’re having trouble, ensure the extension is installed correctly and you’re logged in to both Favikon and your social media account on the same browser.
