✅ Step-by-Step Instructions
Prerequisites
A computer or laptop (Favikon is not compatible with mobile devices)
Google Chrome browser
Active public social media accounts you want to claim
Step 1: Create Your Favikon Account
Visit https://app.favikon.com and sign up for a free account
Fill out your personal information
Check your inbox and confirm your email by clicking the verification link
Step 2: Confirm Creator Plan Access
Log into Favikon
On the left sidebar, check for the “Creator” label under your profile icon
If missing, verify you're on the Creator Plan
Step 3: Download the Favikon Chrome Extension
Go to My Profile from the left menu
Click to download the Favikon Chrome extension
Install and pin it in your browser
Step 4: Configure Extension Permissions
In Chrome, go to
chrome://extensions/Click Details on the Favikon extension
Turn ON “Automatically allow access on the following sites”
Ensure the extension is updated to the latest version
Step 5: Claim Your Social Media Profile
Log into the social media account you want to claim (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Navigate to your profile page (must be public and have at least 1 follower)
Click the Favikon extension icon
Click “Claim My Profile” in the extension popup
Step 6: Verify Successful Connection
Return to your Favikon dashboard
Click Start to begin using the platform
Your claimed profile will now appear under verified accounts
