What is Collab Space?
Collab Space is one shared space per brand-creator collaboration. It brings together post drafts and review, the contract, the payment, and the results in a single place — replacing the need for separate Notion pages, email threads, e-signature tools, and transfer apps.
There's one space per creator, per campaign. If a brand is running three posts with the same creator, that's still one contract, one payment, one brief, and one space — the individual posts are nested inside it as deliverables.
If a creator is working with the same brand on two different campaigns, they'll have two separate spaces (since the contract, budget, and brief differ between campaigns), but they won't need to re-verify their identity for the second one.
Collab Space assumes no prior influencer marketing experience — it's built for both brands/agencies and the creators they work with.
How it's organized
Collab Space has two views of the same object:
Brand side — full control: send contracts, trigger payments, approve drafts, view all analytics.
Creator side — a simpler view of the same space: read the brief, upload drafts, respond to feedback, sign the contract, see their own performance.
The brand's actions (like "Send payment") never show up on the creator side — only the resulting status does (like "Payment: pending"). Brands can use Preview as Creator at any time to see exactly what the creator will see before sharing anything.
Inside each space there are four tabs:
Posts — the content deliverables and their review status
Contract — documents and signature status
Payments — amount, milestones, and payout status
Performance — aggregate results for that creator across the whole collaboration
Negotiation and messaging happen separately, in the campaign's Inbox/Conversations — creators never see that inbox.
Getting a creator into their space
There's no separate "share space" step. A space is created and the creator is invited automatically the first time a brand does one of these:
Schedules a post
Shares a contract
Sends a payment
If the creator isn't a member yet, that action creates the space, attaches the item, and sends the invite. If they're already a member, the item is just added and they get a notification.
A few things to know:
You can also just copy and share the invite link yourself — the creator verifies their own email when they arrive, so it doesn't matter which channel you send it through (DM, email, WhatsApp, etc.).
If you only have a handle and no email, the system will drop the claim link into an existing inbox thread with that creator if one exists, or give you a copyable link to paste anywhere.
Enriched/found emails are never used automatically to send a magic link — an unverified address is pre-filled but nothing is sent until it's verified, so you won't assume an invite landed when it didn't.
Spaces can be created ahead of any outreach if you already have an off-platform relationship with the creator, but the default is that the space is created by one of the three trigger actions above.
Creators land on the tab matching what was sent — a contract lands them on Contract, a scheduled post lands them on Posts, a payment lands them on Payments. The other tabs are still visible, just quiet until there's something there.
How the link and access work
The link a creator receives is a single link to their space — not a new link per contract or payment. It works like this:
The link starts unclaimed.
The first person to verify their email and confirm their social handle claims it.
Once claimed, only that email can get back in. A different email is rejected before a verification code is even sent, with a message like "This collaboration is already linked to c***@gmail.com."
If the wrong person claimed the link, or the creator used the wrong email, use Reset access to return the link to unclaimed status so it can be claimed again correctly.
How do we know the claimer is really the creator? They confirm a social handle, which is matched against Favikon's index, showing a profile card (photo, handle, follower count, network) so the brand can recognize the person they contacted. OAuth verification is used where available, since screenshots can be faked.
Login and security
No accounts or passwords, ever. Access is entirely passwordless.
A magic link is single-use and expires after 15 minutes.
A 6-digit code option is available for cases where the link is opened on one device and the email is read on another.
Sessions last 30 days per device. Once a session expires, the creator just re-enters their email to get a new link.
Signing a contract, setting up/editing payout details, and changing an email all require a fresh magic link, even inside an already-valid session.
If a creator changes their email, the payout destination stays pinned to the identity that originally signed the contract. Email changes also require dual confirmation, trigger a 48-hour payout freeze, notify the brand, and are logged — and they're blocked entirely between contract signature and payment completion.
When a collaboration ends
Sessions are revoked, links stop working, and the space becomes read-only. Archive access is still possible via a fresh magic link. Emails are kept for the contract retention period and then purged according to the standard data retention schedule.
