The Discovery feature on Favikon allows you to find creators or influencers efficiently by either direct search or by applying various filters in Discovery mode. Whether you're looking for a specific creator, a brand, or exploring a pool of influencers within a particular niche, this guide will help you navigate the Discovery feature and make the most of your search.
Ways to Find a Creator or Influencer on Favikon
Direct Search:
If you have a specific creator or brand in mind, use the search bar in the top right corner. Type the creatorâs or brandâs name to locate their profile directly.
Creator Discovery:
For broader searches or to discover new influencers based on criteria, use the Discovery section. This section allows you to filter by niche, region, engagement, and more, making it easy to refine your search.
Credit System in Discovery Search
Favikon uses a credit system to manage searches:
Search Credits: Each time you perform a search in Discovery mode, credits are deducted based on the number of results.
Sorting and Credits: Applying a new sort order triggers a fresh search, which deducts additional credits because it retrieves new data.

â ïžFor every fresh search, a maximum of 50 credits will be used, so feel free to explore and make multiple searchesâcredits take time to exhaust! Each search retrieves up to 50 results per page. If you view more results by going to the next page, additional search credits will be deducted for each new set of results. This system allows you to conduct several searches without quickly using up all your credits, as each page loads only 50 results at a time.
Filter Options in Discovery
Favikon provides a wide range of toggle filter options to help you target the right creators. Hereâs a breakdown of each filter available:
Toggle FIlters
Hide creators already in your CRM: Exclude creators already added to your CRM / Lists. This will save you credits while discovering new creators or profiles.
Only show active accounts (posted last month): Display only creators who have posted within the last month.
Only show profiles with an email: Filter for profiles with an accessible email address.
Only show Favikon Verified creators: Limit results to verified creators on Favikon.
Main Filters:
Industries: Select an industry that aligns with your search. You can only choose 1 industry for a search.
Niches: Choose specific niches within industries, with an option to show only creators who have that niche as their primary focus. You can choose multiple industries within a niche.
Social Media Platforms: Filter by the platform, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others. You can click on platforms that you want the creator to be.
Regions: Search by region or country.
City: Type the city name manually (not a dropdown selection).
Languages: Filter based on the language of the creatorâs content.
Gender: Filter by gender â Male, Female, or All.
Tiers: Sort creators into categories like Celebrities, Established Creators, or Rising Creators. For more information on tiers, visit Favikon Scoring & Ranking Methodology.
Premium Filters: Refine searches to find creators with specific attributes:
Has a podcast
Has a newsletter
Has published a book
LinkedIn Top Voice
Profile Type:
All: View both creators and brands.
Creators: View only creators.
Brands: View only brands.
Filters for Specific Social Media:
Filter creators by platform-specific metrics:
Followers: Set a minimum and maximum range.
Growth %: Filter based on follower growth.
Engagement Rate %: Narrow down by engagement rates.
Average Engagement Per Post: Specify engagement per post.
Posts per Month: Filter by monthly posting frequency.
Only show active accounts (posted last month): Show creators who have been recently active.
More the filters, lesser the search results & hence search credits used.
Sorting Options in Discovery
Favikon offers various sorting options to help you prioritize results based on your goals:
Global Score: Sort by overall score across platforms.
Most Followers: Sort by the highest follower count.
Audience Growth: Sort by follower growth rate.
Platform-Specific Scores: Sort based on platform (e.g., Instagram Score, TikTok Score, LinkedIn Score).
Platform-Specific Growth: Sort by follower growth for specific platforms like YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Each sorting option retrieves fresh data, which deducts additional search credits.
Keyword Search
The Keyword Search feature allows you to add keywords to refine your results. This can be useful for finding creators based on content themes or industry terms, but please note that keyword accuracy may vary.

"Show Only Creators with This Niche as Primary": Selecting this option will limit your results to creators who have your chosen niche as their primary area of focus.
Sorting: To make the most of your search credits, itâs important to understand Favikonâs scoring methodology, which can help you sort and prioritize creators effectively.
Global Score: This is equivalent to Favikonâs Authority Score. It reflects the overall influence and reputation of a creator across platforms, making it a strong indicator of their authority in their field. For more details, see Favikon Methodology - Authority Score.
Influence Scores: Each platform (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) has its own score, helping you find creators with high influence on specific social media. Familiarize yourself with Favikonâs Influence Scores Methodology to make informed sorting decisions that align with your needs.
