Complete Favikon User Guide - How to Use Favikon by Use Case

1. Discovery Methods

Method 1: Filter-Based Discovery

Access: Click on "Filters" in the discovery section

Sorting Options

  • Global Scores: Sort creators by Favikon's scoring system (combines multiple factors)

  • Followers: Sort by most followers

  • Growth: Sort by audience growth

  • Platform-specific scores: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn scores

  • Engagement metrics: Sort by engagement rates

Filter Controls

  • Hide CRM creators: Toggle to hide creators already in your CRM

  • Active accounts only: Show only creators who posted in the last month

  • Verified creators only: Show only Favikon-verified creators (signed up on platform)

Industry & Niche Selection

  • Choose one industry at a time

  • Select multiple niches within that industry

  • Toggle "Show new creators within this niche as primary" for more relevant results

Social Media Platforms

  • Available platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Twitch, Snapchat, Pinterest, Substack

  • AND condition: Selecting multiple platforms shows only creators present on ALL selected platforms

  • Recommendation: Search one platform at a time for better results

Geographic Filters

  • Multiple regions: Select multiple countries

  • City search: Type city names (e.g., "Paris" or "based in Paris" for accuracy)

  • Languages: Select multiple languages simultaneously

Demographics

  • Gender: All, Male, or Female

  • Premium filters: Podcast hosts, newsletter publishers, book authors, LinkedIn speakers

Numeric Filters (Bottom of filter panel)

Configure minimum/maximum values for each platform:

  • Minimum followers

  • Maximum growth rate

  • Minimum engagement rate percentage

  • Maximum average engagement per post

  • Minimum average views per post

  • Minimum posts per month

Final Step: Click "Refresh Search" to apply filters

Method 2: Keyword Search

Use Case: Finding very specific niche creators

Process

  1. Enter keywords in the search bar (e.g., "Korean beauty")

  2. Click "Add" to include the keyword

  3. Choose where keywords should appear:

    • Social media bio (recommended for relevance)

    • AI-generated bio (most relevant results)

    • Post content (broadest results, least relevant)

Best Practice: Use social media bio and AI-generated bio for most relevant results

Method 3: Rankings

Access: Rankings section in discovery

Features

  • View top 200 creators ranked by authority scores or platform-specific scores

  • Filter by industry, niche, social media platform, country, and gender

  • Rankings based on authority scores (no platform selected) or platform-specific scores

Method 4: Network Watch

Purpose: Discover creator partnerships and brand collaborations

Features

  • Visual network graph: See creators in concentric circles showing tagging relationships

  • Hashtag section: View all creators/brands a specific creator has tagged

  • Was tagged by section: See who has tagged the creator most frequently

  • Filtering options: All, creators only, or brands only

  • Sorting: By publication date or popularity

  • Posts section: View all posts where tagging occurred

  • Similar profiles: Find creators with similar industry, following size, niche, and scores

Strategic Use: Analyze competitors' influencer partnerships by searching their brand and seeing associated creators


2. Managing Creators

CRM Integration

  • Automatic addition: Adding creators to any list automatically adds them to CRM

  • One-way sync: Adding to CRM doesn't automatically add to lists

  • → Links to: All lists feed into CRM, making CRM the central repository

Creating Lists from Discovery

Process

  1. Select discovered creators (tick boxes)

  2. Click "Add to List" instead of just "Add to CRM"

  3. Choose "Create a new custom list"

  4. Name the list (e.g., "Korean Beauty Creators")

  5. Add description (optional)

  6. Click "Create List"

  7. Select the new list and click "Save Changes"

→ Integration: Discovery → Lists → CRM


List Management

View Options

  • View Creators: See CRM-style table view

  • List organization: Creators displayed in table format

  • → Links to: CRM section (same data, different access point)

CRM Data Points

  • Creator profiles and social media presence

  • Platform scores

  • List memberships

  • Tags: Assign custom tags (e.g., "Partnership accepted," "Reach out pending")

  • Status: Track partnership status

  • Internal notes: Add private notes (e.g., "Reach out in 3 months")

  • Email addresses

  • Phone numbers (manually added)

  • Industry and niche classifications

  • Follower counts and growth metrics

  • Geographic and language data

  • Date added to Favikon

Bulk Import

  • URL import: Paste Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or other profile URLs

  • Process: Click "Bulk Import" → paste URLs → "Analyze URLs" → "Import"

  • Benefit: Avoid manual creator addition

Export Functionality

  • CSV export: Access comprehensive creator data

  • Extended data: More detailed information than platform view


3. Campaign Management

Method 1: Manual Campaign Management

Process Overview

  1. Discover creators using filters/search

  2. Create lists and add to CRM

  3. Use outreach feature for communication

  4. Track content manually using content tracking

  5. Tag campaign-related posts

Outreach (Pro Plan Feature)

  1. Go to "Outreach" → "Email"

  2. Select creator list

  3. Click "Bulk Message"

  4. Compose email with subject, CC, and message

  5. Send bulk emails

  6. Manage responses in email chat interface

→ Integration: Lists → Outreach → Email Management


Content Tracking Setup

  1. Go to your creator list

  2. Click "Create Tracking"

  3. System begins daily content tracking

  4. Access via "Content Tracking" section

Campaign Creation

  1. Go to "Campaigns" in left sidebar

  2. Click "Create New Campaign"

  3. Campaign Details:

    • Campaign title

    • Campaign summary/description

    • Select brand (add via Chrome extension if not found)

    • Company website URL

    • Agency management option (if applicable)

    • Visibility: Public (open applications) or Private (invite-only)

    • Start and end dates (indicative only)

    • Industry selection (one or multiple)

    • Social media platforms

    • Geographic regions

    • Currency: USD, Euro, GBP, Swedish/Norwegian/Danish Krone

    • Maximum budget per post

    • Criteria enforcement: Toggle to restrict applications to qualifying creators

Additional Details

  • Creator type: Specify preferred creator categories

  • Who we're looking for: Detailed creator description

  • Content requirements: Specify mandatory content elements

  • Required content blocks: Define format, platform, mentions, hashtags with detailed descriptions

Creator Invitation

  • From lists: Select pre-created creator lists

  • Manual addition: Search and add individual creators

  • Invitation message: Compose message with automatic campaign link inclusion

→ Integration: Lists → Campaign Creation → Outreach


Campaign Status Options

  • Active: Public applications accepted

  • Paused: No new applications

  • Finished: Campaign completed

  • Archived: Campaign archived

4. Content Tracking

Setup Requirements

  1. Create creator list

  2. Enable tracking for the list

  3. Choose analysis period

  4. Tag campaign-specific posts

→ Integration: Lists → Content Tracking → Analytics Dashboard


Post Tagging Process

  1. Go to "Posts" section in content tracking

  2. Click "My Campaign" for relevant posts

  3. Toggle posts from gray to green (campaign button)

  4. Use filters to find campaign posts:

    • Mentions: Filter by brand tags

    • Hashtags: Filter by campaign hashtags

    • Post types: Filter by content format

    • Creators: Filter by specific creators

Campaign Data Analysis

Toggle: "Show Campaign Data Only"

  • Purpose: Display analysis only for tagged campaign posts

5. Industry Tracking

Purpose

Setup Process

  1. Go to "Rankings" tab

  2. Select industry (e.g., "Motorsports and Biking")

  3. Choose platform (e.g., Instagram)

  4. Select geographic region

  5. Filter by language if needed

  6. Click "Track This Niche"

  7. Click "Create Tracking"

Access Tracking Data

  • Location: Industries tab → "View Tracking"

Setup

  1. Create creator list for advanced tracking

  2. Define tracking period (1-6 months)

  3. Access "Advanced Tracking" in content tracking section

Historical Data:
