Content Search allows you to search for creators through the content they publish. If you already have a specific type of content in mind, this feature helps you discover creators based on the exact topics, products, problems, or trends you are looking for.
It can also help you find creators based on what they are doing or experiencing. For example, if you are looking for creators who are struggling to learn a language, simply type that into Content Search and you’ll find creators discussing that challenge. This makes Content Search a powerful tool for problem-solving, research, trend discovery, and sourcing relevant creators.
Search Content Manually
Go to Content Search from the menu located on the left side of the screen. Once you open the tool, you will see a search bar where you can enter the type of content you want to find.
You can search naturally by describing exactly what you need. For example, you could type:
female beauty influencers using design hair dryer
Once your search is entered, click Search and then you will get results based on your request and show content that matches your prompt as closely as possible.
Click on the 3 dots of any post you want to explore. You’ll then be able to access the following options:
See similar content: You can view posts similar to the one you selected. This costs 1 credit.
View the creator behind the content: You can see the creator who published the post. This costs 3 credits. If you click on this option, you’ll be able to access their Favikon profile, including their stats, content, and other available insights.
See why this content is a match: You can access detailed information explaining why the post matches your search. This includes keywords related to the post, mentions, hashtags, an explanation of why the content was selected, and the original caption.
Show original post: Clicking on this will take you directly to the original post on the platform where it was published. For example, if the post was published on LinkedIn, it will open the original LinkedIn post.
Search Content Using an Image
Another way to find creators through their content is by searching with an image.
Click the camera icon on the right side of the search bar.
Instead of typing a prompt, upload an image.
Supported formats:
JPG
PNG
WEBP
Maximum file size:
20MB
You can also drag and drop an image directly from your computer.
Search by Keywords
You can also search by keywords if you want to find posts containing specific words or phrases. Simply type the keyword or phrase in quotation marks. For example, type “Favikon” and you’ll receive results showing all posts that include this word.
You can also search using multiple keywords. For example, if you search for “skincare” and “organic”, you’ll find posts that include both of these words. This helps you narrow down results and discover more relevant content based on the topics you’re looking for.
Filters Overview
You can also use filters to make your search more specific. Click on Filters under the search bar, and you’ll be able to refine your search for both Content and Creators.
